🧾 Children’s Product Certificate (CPC) Policy

At Summit's Clothing, the safety and compliance of our products are top priorities. As a U.S.-based seller of children’s apparel, we fully comply with the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA) and the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) regulations, including the issuance and furnishing of a Children’s Product Certificate (CPC).

📄 What is a CPC?

A Children’s Product Certificate (CPC) is a legally required document certifying that a children’s product complies with all applicable safety rules, bans, and standards as mandated by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC).

Each of our baby clothing items has undergone required third-party testing and meets the relevant safety regulations.

🔒 Tracking Labels & Permanent Markings

In accordance with CPSIA, each item we sell includes permanent tracking information either on the product itself, its label, or its packaging (where practicable). This includes:

Manufacturer name or private labeler
Location and date of production
Batch or run number (if applicable)
Information on the source of the product and materials
A link or QR code to access the CPC digitally

💻 Access to CPCs

We make CPCs accessible in the following ways:

Retailers & Distributors: CPCs are furnished electronically upon request. Distributors may also receive printed certificates if required.
Customs & CPSC Requests: We will immediately provide CPCs to U.S. Customs and Border Protection or the CPSC upon formal request.
E-commerce Platforms: If selling through platforms like Amazon or Walmart, CPCs are provided in accordance with each marketplace’s policy.

📬 How to Request a CPC

To request a CPC for a specific product, please contact us with the product name or SKU, and we’ll respond within 1–2 business days.

📦 Printed Inclusion (When Practicable)

Whenever possible, CPCs or tracking information are included inside your order packaging or clearly marked on a tag or label for permanent reference. Digital versions are also available upon request or via QR code.
